Information and access to personal data
The photograph(s) and/or film(s) will be stored digitally by Linköping University, on dedicated servers. When published on social media in which LiU is active, the photograph(s) and films(s) will be stored by the social media service, on servers used by the relevant service. This may involve the photograph(s) and/or film(s) being transferred to a country outside the EU. The photographs(s) and/or film(s) will be used as specified on this consent form. The legal basis for our processing of your personal data is that you have given your consent.
Linköping University will store your personal data for as long as the
photograph(s) and/or films(s) in which you appear are used as specified on this consent form. Documents may also need to be preserved due to archival legislation.
Linköping University, SE-581 83 Linköping, Sweden, with organisation number 202100-3096, is the controller of personal data. We will share your personal data with communications officers within Linköping University. We will also share the data with production agencies subcontracted by LiU, in cases in which such agencies carry out communication projects for the university. Documents at LiU are subject to the principle of public access to information and may also be shared with recipients in accordance with the regulations for the principle of public access to information.
The consent form will remain valid until otherwise specified. You have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. This is done by contacting the registrar at registrator@liu.se. We will then delete your image from our database and will not publish it again. You should, however, be aware that withdrawing your consent will not affect the legality of the processing carried out before the consent was withdrawn. This means that material that has already been printed or otherwise published will not be affected.
You also have the right to contact us to obtain information about your personal data and its processing, and to request that it be corrected, transferred, deleted or that its processing be limited. Furthermore, you have the right to file a complaint at the supervisory authority (which in this case is the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection's (IMY)) if you consider that we are processing your personal data in an unauthorised manner.
